Bernard’s very popular series of tastings and special events offers our customers a chance to learn about exciting new foods in the best way—from experts as they get to taste them! Past Tasteful Events have featured a variety of eclectic offerings: fine wines and cheeses from around the world, imported and domestic smoked salmon, fine chocolates, premium coffees, green tea, olives, sausages, slow dried fruits, jams and preserves, knishes and even quinoa, considered the “superfood of the Incas.”

“Perfection & The Art of Coffee Roasting”: Nov 9

Tasteful Events @ Bernard’s returns on Mon., Nov. 9, with “Perfection & The Art of Coffee Roasting” with Georgio’s Coffee Roasters, from 11:30am – 2pm. Read all about the demo! Few individuals know more about coffee roasting and brewing than Georgio, who has traveled the world, perfecting his knowledge of coffee beans and roasting techniques. Come for this free coffee demonstration, which will begin with the transformation of raw coffee to roasted in his one-pound roaster. Then taste three of Bernard’s most popular coffees: Colombian, House Blend and the ever-requested Indonesian. Finally, don’t miss the Siphon Brewing Demo. The siphon process was begun by the French over 180 years ago and many believe it to result in the best extraction of coffee flavors. Come to Bernard’s on Mon., Nov. 9 and decide for yourself!
